Depending on how you interact with us, this may include your name, email address, telephone number, event type, proposed event date, guest count, venue or geographic location, venue status, celebration format, services you are interested in, anticipated design investment, information you provide about your event or design preferences, newsletter subscription information, and other information you choose to include in communications with us.

Our website does not currently collect payment-card information, Social Security numbers, driver's-license numbers, online-account credentials, or similar sensitive identifiers through our general inquiry form.

Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information that is not reasonably necessary for us to understand or respond to your inquiry.

Because our work includes culturally meaningful celebrations, you may voluntarily provide information concerning cultural or religious traditions that are relevant to your event. We use such information only as reasonably necessary to understand your request, communicate with you, and provide or plan requested services.

When you visit the website, Squarespace and other technologies used to operate the site may automatically process technical and usage information.

We use this information to operate and secure the website, understand general site usage, diagnose technical issues, and improve the website and visitor experience.

4. Wedding and Event Inquiries

Information submitted through our inquiry form is used to understand your event and determine how Andaaz Weddings may be able to assist you.

Submitting an inquiry does not reserve an event date, guarantee availability, constitute acceptance of an engagement, or create a client relationship or binding service agreement.

If Andaaz Weddings and a prospective client decide to work together, the engagement will be governed by a separate written agreement applicable to the services being provided.

5. Newsletter and Marketing Communications

Submitting a wedding or event inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications.

You may separately and voluntarily choose to subscribe to receive occasional wedding inspiration, design content, recent celebrations, company news, or other updates from Andaaz Weddings.

We may use a confirmation email or similar verification process to confirm a subscription.

If you subscribe, you may unsubscribe at any time through the unsubscribe mechanism included in our marketing emails or by contacting us at privacy@andaazweddings.com.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending communications that are reasonably necessary concerning an inquiry, existing client relationship, requested service, transaction, security matter, or legal obligation.

We may retain limited suppression information, such as an email address and unsubscribe status, where reasonably necessary to ensure that an opt-out request continues to be honored.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies.

Necessary cookies may be used to securely operate the website and provide functionality requested by visitors.

Optional analytics, performance, or preference technologies are subject to the choices provided through our cookie banner and cookie-preference controls. Our current Squarespace configuration restricts non-essential cookies until the visitor makes the applicable choice through those controls.

7. Squarespace

Our website is hosted on Squarespace.

Squarespace processes certain website visitor information to host, secure, deliver, and support the website and to provide functionality such as forms, Contacts, analytics, and other website services.

When you submit an inquiry or newsletter signup through the website, the information may be stored through Squarespace systems and associated with our Squarespace Contacts records.

Squarespace may also process technical information such as browser, network, device, IP-address, and website-use information as part of providing its services.

8. Website Analytics

We use Squarespace's built-in analytics functionality to understand general website traffic and activity.

When applicable optional analytics or performance cookies require a visitor choice under our current website configuration, those cookies remain restricted unless the visitor accepts them through the available cookie controls.

Andaaz Weddings does not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising pixels, behavioral retargeting technology, heatmaps, or session-recording tools on this website.

If we materially change these practices, we will review and update this Privacy Policy and our cookie disclosures as appropriate.

9. Weglot and Website Translation

We use Weglot to make portions of our website available in Urdu.

Weglot may process website content and limited technical information necessary to provide translation and language functionality. Language-related technology may also store information concerning a visitor's selected language or translated website content.

Visitors currently choose their preferred language manually; we do not use Weglot's automatic browser-language redirect feature.

Automated translations may not always reproduce the precise meaning of the original English content.

Translated versions of our legal notices are provided for convenience. In the event of a material inconsistency between the English version of a legal notice and a translated version, the English version should be consulted as the authoritative version, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Google reCAPTCHA

We use Google reCAPTCHA on certain website forms to help protect our website and forms against spam, automated submissions, fraud, abuse, and malicious activity.

Google may process technical information associated with your browser, device, network, and interaction with the website as necessary to provide reCAPTCHA's security and fraud-prevention functionality.

11. Email and Communications Services

Andaaz Weddings uses Google Workspace to manage business communications.

We may also use connected email services, including Yahoo Mail, as part of our internal email-access and workflow arrangements.

Accordingly, information contained in emails or website-generated inquiry notifications may be processed by the service providers used to deliver, store, synchronize, or manage those communications.

12. Service Providers and Disclosure of Information

We may disclose or make personal information available to vendors and service providers that perform functions on our behalf, such as website hosting, form processing, communications, translation, analytics, security, spam prevention, data storage, and related technical or professional services.

These disclosures are made for legitimate business purposes and do not mean that Andaaz Weddings sells its client or inquiry lists.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, court orders, or governmental requests; protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Andaaz Weddings or others; investigate fraud, misuse, or security incidents; enforce agreements or protect legal rights; or facilitate a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, sale, or transfer of some or all of the business or its assets, subject to applicable law.

13. Sale of Personal Information and Targeted Advertising

Andaaz Weddings does not sell or rent personal information as part of its business.

We do not currently exchange inquiry, client, or subscriber information for money, discounts, advertising benefits, lead-sharing benefits, or other commercial consideration.

We also do not currently use personal information collected through this website for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising using advertising pixels or similar retargeting technologies.

If these practices materially change in the future, we will update our disclosures and implement legally required choices before relying on those new practices.

14. Do Not Track and Privacy Signals

Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" signals or other privacy preference mechanisms.

There is not currently a universally accepted technical standard governing how every website must respond to traditional browser Do Not Track signals.

Because Andaaz Weddings does not currently sell personal information or use this website for cross-context behavioral advertising, we do not presently provide a separate Do Not Track opt-out mechanism.

Visitors can manage optional cookie choices through the cookie controls available on this website.

If applicable law later requires us to recognize a particular privacy preference signal in connection with a processing activity we conduct, we will review and implement the applicable requirement.

15. Social Media and Third-Party Links

Our website contains links to social-media platforms and other third-party websites.

These links may include services such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Flickr, Linktree, or other external platforms.

A normal link does not mean that Andaaz Weddings controls the third party's privacy practices. Once you leave our website or interact directly with another platform, that service's own privacy policy and terms govern its collection and use of information.

19. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults planning weddings, celebrations, and events.

We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children under 13, and Andaaz Weddings does not enter into client contracts directly with minors.

If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information directly to us through the website without appropriate authorization, we will review the circumstances and take reasonable steps as appropriate.

20. International Visitors

Andaaz Weddings is based in New Jersey and primarily provides services in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

We do not currently target or operate our wedding and event services in the European Union or United Kingdom.

Our website may nevertheless be accessible from other jurisdictions. Where an applicable law gives a visitor rights that legally apply to our processing activities, we will address those rights as required by that law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our website, business practices, vendors, technologies, legal requirements, or services.
